Annual Meeting Sunday January 10 at Noon

The Annual Meeting of members of the Park La Brea Residents Association will be held at noon on Sunday, January 10, 2010, in the Theater at the Activities Center at Curson Square.
The officers will report to the members on the events of the past year, including background on the governance changes that occurred beginning in July, the simplified mission statement, the Association’s financial condition, and the opportunities to get involved with the committees that will do the real work of PLBRA in 2010.

Members will elect directors to serve for 2010. Members who would like to run for director should register with the PLBRA offices (see the related story on this page).
Next month, at the quarterly Board meeting on February 13, the directors will elect new officers.
This has been a year of transition for the Residents Association. The current Board and officers are revitalizing PLBRA and make it more effective in improving the quality of life at Park La Brea.
